Tucked into the western Polkadraai Hills of Stellenbosch, Karibib is a working wine farm rooted in sustainability and creativity. Our vineyards thrive on ancient soils, producing exceptional grapes for a collective of independent winemakers who craft bold, minimal-intervention wines that tell their own stories.
At our tasting room, you can sample this diverse range—alongside our own Estate Wines—while soaking up breathtaking views and enjoying wood-fired pizzas straight from the oven. It’s wine, food, and nature in perfect harmony.

We have a small food menu, using locally sourced ingredients, that changes seasonally.
More than just a Wine Tasting
At Karibib Wine Craft you can experience a truly diverse tasting, sampling wines made in different styles and from vineyards all over South Africa. Our pizza chef, Asive, makes a three day fermented, 70% hydration pizza dough with home made tomato sauce and fresh Fior di latte. Our pizza toppings and platter ingredients are simple, locally sourced and seasonal.

The Estate
Karibib Wine Estate, located on the Polkadraai Hills near Stellenbosch, is home to ancient Dolomite soils and vineyards shaped by the Cape’s dramatic elements.
Under Jozua Joubert’s stewardship, the family-owned estate shifted from supplying big wineries to supporting 26 unique wine brands. With a mix of old vines, like a 45-year-old Chenin Blanc, and new plantings, Jozua champions sustainability and farming with nature
